At Eminence, we offer a variety of challenging classes and programs for all fitness levels, in order to provide the means of fulfilling any goal. We firmly believe in creating a place where our community can strive to be their best in a completely non-judgmental, and safe atmosphere. We have confidence that the right programming will help our members stay enthusiastic about striving to be their best self, and take pride that each of our classes are coached by inspiring and knowledgeable trainers. Like so many other people, Chad dabbled in all types of fitness, but would quickly lose motivation and constantly switch up his routine. He eventually found CrossFit and tried it at other “boxes.” He even built a home gym to try to get it done on his own. However, it wasn’t until he experienced Eminence and its wonderful facility, coaches, and community, that he felt a true spark and passion for fitness.

Eminence truly changed his life – so much so, that he eventually purchased the business with the intent to be able to share that experience with everyone else. He may be the co-owner of CrossFit Eminence, but he will always be a member first.

Kat Rames
Kat Rames

When she was younger, Kat was in both orchestra and a certified band geek. She has never been athletic, was always picked last for every team, and complained a lot in P.E. class. But loving how she looked and felt when dialing in her fitness and nutrition, and more importantly enjoying the friendships she has made at Eminence throughout the years, Kat is determined to keep coming to the 5:15 am class as long as she physically can make it – but don’t expect her to stop grumbling about it!

Demetria, aka Coach Dee, started CrossFit in 2012. She had never touched a weight or done a pull up in her life, but quickly fell in love. The only thing she loves more than the workouts are the awesome people she gets to workout with every day. She can’t imagine her life without CrossFit Eminence!

Dan attended his first CrossFit class in 2014, and has been bought into it ever since. He learned that the community and competition that comes from CrossFit, leads to much better results than “figuring it out on your own.” In his free time, Dan spends a lot of time skiing, running, reading, practicing yoga, and all things “Colorado.” He coaches a variety of classes at Eminence, and if you aren’t sure who he is, he is most likely the one getting his dance groove on the gym floor!

Michelle Milligan
Michelle Milligan

Michelle was introduced to CrossFit in 2013, and was immediately drawn to the community and competitive nature of the sport. To put it simply, she fell in love with CrossFit Eminence – and it changed her life, health, and diet! Eminence has also given her an incredibly supportive circle of friends. In 2018, she became deeply interested in nutrition and the amazing power that food has to help reach health and wellness goals. She has been sharing this knowledge with our members, guiding them to better nutrition through seminars, social media, and personalized one-on-one coaching. Michelle is an active member of USA Weightlifting, and she loves to compete in local and national level meets.

Craig Maurer
Craig Maurer

Craig started his fitness journey working out at home with DVD’s (anyone remember P90x?). He then moved on to try a regular fitness center, but got bored quickly and realized he needed programming, structure, motivationl push, start/end times, and most of all… FUN. Craig found CrossFit in 2013, and has been hooked every since. It checked off ALL the boxes he was looking for, plus a few that he didn’t realize he needed. CrossFit taught Craig that being the best in one field, won’t win the competition. He has a diverse background, and is always trying to work on his weaknesses. He enjoys trying new sports such as shooting, snowboarding, football, raquetball, softball, and kickball. If you want to try a crazy workout or work on some biceps and triceps, and don’t want to do it alone, Craig is always down (unless it’s thrusters).

Giannina Orozco
Giannina Orozco

Giannina is our Fascial Stretch Therapist & Bodywork Practitioner that focuses on healing through fascial manipulation. Inspired by coaches, fellow athletes and some of her own injuries, a general curiosity was sparked on how to increase mobility. By sharing her passion of movement and healing through Fascial Stretch techniques, Giannina truly believes that pain should not limit your lifestyle or movement, and that healing comes from manipulation of your tissue, muscles, and joints.

Giannina grew up swimming competitively before she found Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting back in 2016. She competes in local meets, and loves the empowerment that comes with strength training.

Dr. Christopher Dorsa
Dr. Christopher Dorsa

Dr. Christopher Dorsa grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and became a pre-med student at the University of Miami. As a three-sport athlete, Dr. Dorsa became familiar with many injuries including the need to undergo medical, surgical, and rehab treatment. This opened his eyes to the need for a lifestyle-based, preventative approach to healthcare, which lead him to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer West in California.

Throughout his education movement screening techniques were a major focus, which allows for more specific diagnosis and treatment. Alongside normal chiropractic care, Dr. Dorsa became relentless in learning the latest and greatest techniques in manual therapy and rehab, to create a more efficient treatment approach, adding value to each patient.
