Eddie was a joy to work with during the CrossFit Eminence Nutrition Program! He had previously lost 60 pounds over 2 years on his own. He did this by eating healthier foods, cutting back on alcohol, and working out regularly. He was eating foods such as oatmeal, fruits, nuts, salads, and other home-cooked meals throughout the week. But he sometimes indulged in treats, wine, and unhealthy snacks on the weekend. His goal by joining our Nutrition Program, was to lose that last stubborn 23 pounds that just wouldn't budge!
Throughout the program, Eddie remained excited to crush his goal. It wasn't always easy though! He experienced some weekends that tempted him to go back to his old habits. He also had a week where he needed to attend a work conference. But Eddie kept showing up at the gym. We saw him on average, over 3 days a week in CrossFit class. Toward the end of the 12-week cut, he was fighting fatigue. But with the help of his coach, he strategically increased his carbohydrates in order to help get him fuel his workouts.
Eddie continued to push through to the end, and he was ecstatic to finally meet his goal! At the beginning of our nutrition challenge, he was 199.8 pounds and after 3 months, he ended at 174.2 pounds. He also lost 6 inches off his mid-section!! And most importantly, we love that he had a life changing experience. He can now move forward understanding what and when to eat, and how to fuel his body appropriately based on his activity level.
Hands-on coaching
My experience with the RP Summer Challenge was educational, life changing and amazing!!! My goal was to lose the last 20 pounds I needed to lose. I achieved my goal! I also learned how to truly eat in a healthy way. For Phil and I this is life changing. I appreciated the hands-on coaching and the communication, it helped me hold myself accountable to my goals.
I recommend this program to everyone who wants to learn and see real results! Phil and I are excited to continue our fitness journey, and our hands-on coaching made it easy for us to plan for our new goals.
We are so proud of you. Congratulations, Eddie!
